I'm meeting up with some friends a little bit outside Manchester and we're gonna caravan in from there. Does anyone have any tips for being able to park next to each other? I'm sorry if this has been discussed before but I looked around for a bit and didn't see anything. Thanks in advance.
after you go through the security check just wait for the rest of your group... there will be room to just pull up and out of the way... and if one of the traffic directors try to break you off from the group just let em know you are together and they're usually cool about it

This is my 1st roo, but from what I gather, I think as long as you can stay together in traffic, you should be right behind/ahead of each other in line and end up next to each other.

We had a 14 car caravan. The mounties kept trying to make us move along when we were trying to wait. They were pretty insistant, and didnt care AT ALL that we were waiting for others to camp together. So we made sure not to push the gas and just idle.
Also, since we did get broken up a little, we just pulled off the road further away from the security check (once out of sight from the mounties.) Most people in line were cool with this. And remarkably, all 14 cars made it in together!

There were 6 of us that went in together (VIP). The guys tried to stop my car as the random check point and I told him I couldn't go in without my friends (I was last in line) and he just let me go on it without the check...sweet.
