Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
if you stay awake all of Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night, and are still spun at like 9:30 A.M. without sleep, you should consider staying in Centeroo and sleeping under a mist tent. Don't attempt to hike back to your campsite and get stuck there - not being able to make the hike back into Centeroo and endure the line while the temperature constantly rises because you fear you will collapse along the way. Tossing and turning at your campsite wishing you were laying beneath a couple of misting nozzles is a nightmare.
The Current Bonnaroo tent:
I hear that some of the attendants of the Current tent wouldn't allow people to get a few hours of shuteye, but the times i went in there, there were all kindsa peeps crashed off in the corners and off to the side.
I never crashed there, but i realize that i could if i needed to. If one of the attendees in there tried to wake me up or disturb me, although it may be a dickhead move, i'd tell them that if i didn't get some god damn sleep right now, i would go fukin crazy, and to fuk off. I'm certain this would work, especially towards the end of the festival, if you threw in a "i haven't slept in 3 1/2 Days"
Also, about the Current Bonnaroo tent; there's a massive air conditioner in there. Before you go in, dump some water on your head. When you go inside and stand in front of or near this a/c, your body temperature will drop back to normal and it will clear your head and lift your spirits almost instantly.
I learned to do this with my bottles of water that were warm, so i wouldn't waste them.

At my second roo, I learned A LOT!
1. When the sun wakes you up at 7 AM, go to the cinema tent. It's air conditioned, and has couches. You'll fall right back asleep. If that's too noisy or crowded, underneath the bleachers at Which Stage is a great alternative (although, I figured that out my first year).
2. Not only does Clean Vibes hook you up with a free ticket, you get showers, food, and even more partying from Monday until Thursday morning.
3. Having a spray bottle in your hands gets you A LOT of free headiness!
4. Screw pen and paper, bring a field recorder. Not only can you interview hundreds of people who will say the craziest things their minds can think of at the time, but you won't have to worry about waiting to download sets you enjoyed!
5. Don't buy food, cook it. No matter what people say, you'll save yourself a ton of money by making your own food.
6. Don't leave your newly found trip buddy at STS9. You'll never see him again, even if he knows where you camp.
7. The gated off section in front of What Stage is the single best addition to Roo... EVER!
8. Two words: Camping. Only.
9. The Staff party on Monday night has all those confiscated goodies the staff took away (post show CV people weren't supposed to attend, but about 10 of us were way too inebriated to pass up finding out where the music and fireworks are coming from).
10. Stay for Monday morning. You never know what you can ground score or get for cheap/ free!
Its funny, my second Roo, i learned, dont cook food, Buy it!! ha. Well the big meals, like one or two a day i will buy, the rest of the time we had small easy food to prepare and eat
That if you went to the garner tent to get your hairdone the wait will be a long time so when you need sleep sign up for a free hair-do find a seat and sleep for a few hours in a nice airconditioned tent.
