Ps I got some ladies Hanes boxer briefs thinking they would be comfy and solve any potential chafing issues, but I don't like them. 1 they don't stay down, so I'm constantly pulling them down. And 2 the waist band hits right below the belly button and squeezes a little to show off any extra weight you may have there. I do not recommend.

Welcome aprilmichelle! It brings me such joy that your first Inforoo post was in the GFT!
You (of course) are not required to wear a Tutu. We just LOVE them so much, that we're all on a mission to rock them out this year. If you are coming to the Inforoo Brunch on Friday morning - you should definitely wear one! We're gonna try to have as many there as possible! As far as when people wear them in general... they will be all over the place. During the day, during the night, with leggings, with bikini bottoms, with knee socks, over dresses. It's a free for all. There are costumes all over the place in general, not just Tutus. You are going to have a blast at Roo! Excited that this will be your first one

Last year I wore black boy short underwear that are spandex/nylon which were a lot more comfortable than the bathing suit bottoms I had. I just bought 3 2-packs at Kmart on clearance for 99 cents each. Ah, love deals like that.
Props to Target, Victoria Secret, and the slight few that have bathing suit tops that offer more support and/or underwire. I'm a 34C and I can't get away with wearing a triangle top.

Target has them but it seems a little too over priced for me for a two pack of boyshorts ($15, I think the last I checked). Do you have a TJ Maxx or Marshalls near by? They always have cheap undies.
So in addition to an amazon addiction, I've been searching etsy for some kind of fanny/waist pack and I need to ban myself from that site now too. Le sigh.

A co-worker showed this site to me several months ago. Its hysterical. Its a collection of all of the WTF items found on etsy. So brilliant.
I wear yoga shorts under all my dresses at fests and outdoor concerts. I love them. I think boy short cut undies are the best option for under the tutu if you aren't worried about chaffing. I bet that's a cut combo. I wear thongs almost exclusively, but I LOVE the way my butt looks in those undies!
So I just realized that I haven't done my tutu yet and I have almost NOOOO time left! I literally have 5-6 free evenings before Roo (and work everyday during the day). I HAVE to get on this. I am worried that it won't get done

Do you guys have Gabriel Bros. around you? I found a bunch of awesome tanks there this week all for just a few bucks.
I'm not a big dress person so I'll be wearing shorts and found a really nice pair of Köppen blue shorts at Dick's. They were a bit expensive but so comfortable.

Today at Target I found a wristlet for $5 that I'm going to attempt turning into a satchel or a fanny pack. I picked up a cute brown belt (WITH AN OWL BUCKLE) for the fanny pack idea. Ahh, 2 a.m is the perfect time to be creative.

I bought this dress at Maurices Friday night. I am in love with it AND it's 2 full sizes smaller than what I wore last year! I've also picked up a cheap maxi dress at Walmart that I'm going to alter up to hit right above the knee. Maxi dresses just don't allow enough airflow when it's hotter that the fifth circle of hell!
I saw this on YouTube a while back and tried it on my daughter's hair. Don't bother unless you have the nice artist chalk. Cheap chalk doesn't show up well and leaves your hair feeling yucky. Otherwise it's an easy, chemical free, and temporary way to get color in your hair.
Last year I wore flip flops with an entirely fabric upper (including the thong between the toes) the whole time at roo, but my dog ended up getting them after I got home. They were so comfortable, way more comfy than a plastic upper would be. I can't for the life of me remember where I got them--if any of you see something like this in your shopping, I'd soooo appreciate it if you could let me know. I can't find flip flops like them anywhere this year! Thanks!
