yeah i used to always go to the ones in seatlle, ny and new orleans and spent enough money at those...then they had to go and put one right up the street from me. i think they sought me out.

i live in manhattan, 58th street 2 blocks from BLOOMIES!!!!
I saw a lot of them at Roo last year...it always seemed like they could not possibly be comfortable, but after seeing so many and hearing some good things about them, comfort-wise, I'm wondering if I was wrong. If they were comfy, they'd be great for Roo - they'd stay on well, it wouldn't be a problem if they got wet or dirty, and they're super cute. Plus they're not too expensive. Any thoughts?

Rats, I was hoping you girls would convince me that I was wrong about that! I think about rope rubbing against my feet...and then I look at the testimonials on the web site where people say they had blisters and those shoes were so much better...and I'm like...something does not compute! I guess it all varies from person to person...I'm getting really tempted to try them, though.

ive heard that they are awesome from ppl too, but i get blisters from EVERY FLAT shoe ever....even comfy sneakers and i just dunno.. get them and report back!

My feet are so weird when it comes to blisters. I can walk around in 25-cent flip flops all day long without any problems, but ballet flats KILL my feet.
i have also heard that the rope shoes dont cause blisters but thats hard to imagine.
i also cant wear flat shoes - they make my feet hurt so badly by the end of the day. i said on here before that if i didnt want to be made fun of id take my oldest balck pumps. i swear i could run all day in those things. i have a pair of nice flips that have a bit of a built up heels and i may try those some. the sanuks are very very comfortable and im sure ill be fine in those for the most part.

Greetings, Yes, a male reading this thread. You have given me new shopping options for my wife. We live in an area without much diversity of shopping. There were a few TMI information, but when I was working for an interior design firm and was the only guy in a staff of 10, I had to remind the ladies sometimes that I was there. Having gone to school in Boulder, and never been to Bonnaroo, I think that I will love the fashions that the ladies are wearing. Have a wonderful day, looking forward to my road trip in June. - Todd
my first year at roo i brought all the wrong shoes and bought a pair of rope sandals. it rained the whole time so they were wet, but i didn't get blisters and they didn't come off. they never dryed the whole weekend but they were alright as far as comfort goes. i would get something that has a little more support!
I put inserts in all of my flats so I have a little arch support - just the basic ones you can find at CVS. Especially with my Converse skimmers - I couldn't wear those at all without the inserts.
Hi, my name is Becca and I have a shopping problem.
Hi. I'm ThatGrrl. And this year's flu shot hasn't protected me from catching Becca's shopping problem, either! Stop showing me all that cute stuff you've bought/want to buy, Becca!

if you DONT want to spend money i suggest NOT going into urban outfitters.
they had the prettiest earrings there i had to return something soo i got lucky ;D
Okay, I went to UO today and there were a TON of really cute earrings. I came close to buying 4 pairs, but managed to restrain myself as they were $18 each. I'll have to look for cheaper ones.

i got these HUGE hoops with light blue stones and lil silver feather beads did you see them?
Phooey. I'm having trouble either getting a picture or link to work off of the urban outfitters site. But they have those bandeau bra type things for only $12 and they have some padding to them. Pretty cool!
