Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I've tried a home waxing which didn't go well AT ALL and when using Nair the hair grew back about the same speed as shaving
So I'd just shave, but it also prolly depends on how often you shave too. It seems the less you shave the slower it grows back. Letting things grow out a bit longer before 'roo and then shaving the day you leave seems to work well. Otherwise I'd say find a good/trusted place to get waxed.
...i know this has been discussed somewhere on here before any one know where it's at?
One day i'll invest in some frickin' lasers...when they're not so frickin' expensive!
You'll definitely have a blast... Probably some of the most important tips:
Drink lots of water- gatorade and similar drinks are also helpful for restoring your energy. Personally I like the emergen-c packets. High spf sunscreen! Baby wipes (so many helpful uses!) The dust often made me sneeze a lot, so tissues/allergy medicine may also a good idea Shade for outside of your tent Portable shower if you're not going vip (being clean is nice but, I found showering at sundown was a great way to refresh yourself. I felt SOOOOOO much better afterwards! Plus you could always shave then!)
Seriously all of this. I woudn't worry to much about the shavin or waxin just bring some shade and a hat and you will be fine.
Haha, yeah. As long as you don't absolutely stink, you'll probably be fine. I can even get used to the sweat smell while I'm there. We're all filthy by Sunday.

There will be mamas there who don't shave at all. I'm talking about long underarm hair and thick treasure trails. You won't feel self-conscious around this group. Everybody is doing their own thing...not a judgemental bunch.
That said, I wax before I go so that I will feel more comfy.
Like shekinahmama says, don't worry about whether some stubble is going to be acceptable... no one is going to notice. If it bothers you though, you might want to try waxing. Its really not that bad. I use home kits, and even though I'm super clumsy and basically have no skills, I can handle it without injury, so you can too! Just get the cold wax strips instead of the kind you have to heat up, and read the directions thoroughly.
As far as the chafing issue... yes, having stubble will not feel good on your lady bits, so either wax or give yourself a few weeks to return to your natural state!
