Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
My buddy and I were taking a survey about people who went last year (any years welcome, however) on what time people arrived to Bonnaroo and what campsite they were in.
For instance, we got there last year on Wednesday night, around 930pm (Roo time). We ended up in Camp Oddjob, all the way in the outskirts of the camping sites.
I'd also like to know if you were Tent Only or camping with your car. Any and all information is great! Thanks guys.
This man came up to me just the other day, asked me I'd been born again. I told him, "I didn't think I had." That I had been rejected. But I think, Hell's got all the good bands anyway. And Bonnaroo.
This has been examined indepth on a lot of thread. The conclusion is basically the earlier you arrive, the further out you are. But there Are obviously exceptions (like me)
Arrived 8am Thursday, Camped with truck in Camp Paulie (right behind That Tent) But the line of traffic directly in front of me was taken to Brushy Branch Rd to camp. I, and about 3 cars behind me, just got lucky.

I got into the farm at about 7am on Thursday. We were in access so I knew where I would be and it didn't really matter what time we got there. I did, however, do some wandering while the farm filled up and noticed some things.
It's true, they fill up BFE first. After that, they filled in the campground in columns. Starting on the farthest side from the highway. They filled in the front and moved back, then shifted over and repeated the process. They continued like that until it was full. They were done with BFE around 9-10 am... they had started to fill up the area behind us (right off of the other tent) at about 2 or 3 pm.
Right. A lot of you seemed to arrive Thursday morning. The one predicament I had was that another of my buddies showed up around 8am Thursday morning and was in even further BFE then me. Thanks for all the info, though!

Got there at 5 or 6 am on Thursday but I say we got to get situated and setup/parked at 7-8ish? We were right by shakedown street, so we didn't have to do that much walking at all.

Hey I wasn't sure where to post this so I figured here would be a good place. How much room do you get for camping w. a car? I was going to purchase a 10' X 13' tent, a 10'x10' sun screen to go over the tent and have some room for chairs and I really wanted to get a 3.5'X3.5' shower/privacy shelter do you think there would be enough room?

You should have enough room. the smallest I've ever had was about 15x15 in '03 but usually it's more like 15x20 or more.
The key is to stake out your area ASAP as the longer you wait, the more your neighbors will encroach. Set up your canopy, shelter and chairs as soon as you park and you'll be okay.
Also if you have a 10x10 shade and a 10x13 tent you will need shade for the chairs and such. Bring a tarp to extend the canopy. You'll be glad you did.

We got on the backroads at about 2pm Thursday and finally got set up in camp scott evil about 7-7:30. Long walk to centeroo. And a long walk back at 4am after 14+ hours of continuous beer and sun. I would like to be a little closer in this year if possible.

We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us." — Charles Bukowski

We got to the farm about 8:30 or 9:00. They separated the cars into about 4 lines,of about 5 or 6 cars a line. We had a short search for glass then they scanned our tickets. Then made the lines go different ways. Our line took right to the front. I could see main stage from my tent. We were on the back side of some stage.
Didn't go last year. But in '06 we arrived early Thursday morning (probably around 7:00am after being in line for a few hours). Got put in the girl thingy Galore* camp site. If I go again this year, I'm hoping to land back there. Probably as far away as you can get from Centeroo, but still awesome.
got in line for exit 112?? is it? or 114, something like that i forget, & got through the gates at around 11 or 12 pm on thursday. ended up in camp dr. rumack. great spot, only fifteen minutes to centeroo & food, toilets, water, ice & spritzer tent all a two minute walk away!
