So I've noticed from a few comments on the board and from pictures on Flickr that the Comedy Tent is seated...and it looks like people had to wait in lines for those seats.
My question to you vets is how long did you have to wait to get into one of those shows?
I'm just wondering if it's worth it...or if it requires too much time waiting in line.

I personally never waited in line for the comedy tent. I was to busy seeing everything I could. A couple of friends of mine waited close to 45 minutes to get into the comedy tent.

Too much time for me. I tried waiting in line for Lewis Black in 06, waited in line maybe 30-45 minutes then the tent filled up and they stopped letting people in and I gave up. Later I got into the tent for an act I think was called "The Acid Trip" which was mildly entertaining and an opportunity to cool off in the A.C. Last year I tried for Lewis again on Thurs. afternoon before any shows, but of course everyone else had the same idea and I gave up before getting in.

me and my boyfriend saw every single comedy act last year ;D
we usually went about an hour before each show, and got in with no problem every time... the wait isn't that bad if you schedule it around your shows... and i dunno about you but i spend a good amount of time at roo just hanging out and relaxing anyway, so why not do it while in line to see something highly entertaining? i saw lots of napping, eating, etc... while in line, so you can even make somewhat constructive use of your time there!
(also, they made the comedy tent much bigger last year, so it was able to accommodate a much longer line of people)
that said, if it's a big act (think lewis black/dave attell) that you REALLY don't want to miss, you might want to go a bit earlier, if you have the time to spare... i think it's worth it, i had an absolute blast.
