did anyone else have a tornado blow through there campsite last year? it was around mid day when all of a sudden a huge wind blew through the ally where we were camped and picked up and carried half a dozen tents. it only lasted for a few seconds but it was still pretty crazy

I remember walking back to my tent from show I was at and seeing the tents flying around in a circle. I also remember thinking, "Man! I'm glad that's not our tent." Karma to you for that being at least close to your tent!

Yep, we got caught in that crazy little wind gust. We were relaxing at the campsite when it happened. Our tent was fine, but the canopy from our neighbors began to blow away. We saved it, but unfortunately our neighbors thought we sabotaged their canopy (???) and weren't very friendly.

It's funny to see those pics because a couple of the things that are in flight may have originated from my campsite. I was in VIP and had my campsite marked with a 6' balloon which we changed daily from red, blue, white. Well, we lost the white one Sunday morning when we were topping off the helium and my friend decided he wanted to see just how big it could get. Needless to say I was a bit scared because that thing was as big as the white circular thingy on the current inforoo wallpaper and I was the schmuck holding it to make sure it didn't fly away. Anyways, there we were with a gigantic helium tank and nothing to inflate until we decided to test just how flight worthy garbage bags are and let me tell you...those babies fly. The first one we just filled and didn't tie off, sort of like a chinese lantern with the candle and it disappeared out of sight. I don't know where the comedy in flying a garbage bag comes from but I do know we laughed like idiots for a good ten minutes so hey, lets fly another one. This time we went with a black one, tied it off and up it went. So...if you saw garbage bags flying Sunday it was my campsite and not a tornado.
Now you just told me that friendship is all I'm forced to repair the breech in my wall Illusions and dreams, as usual, it seems Sabra girl, they've been my downfall
