Last year was my first year to attend Roo and I was shocked to not see more nudity... I saw a good deal none the less...
How much nudity have you guys witnessed throughout Roos of the past? What are your feelings about this nudity? I know we already had the sex thread but I just wanted to see how nudity is received at Roo...
I saw one guy right before the Mute Math show just walking around the concert area naked as can be... I believe he is the one who jumped on stage completely nude during their performance? I found it very entertaining... I never saw any security hassle people in the buff? Does security ever do anything about nudity?

i saw a bunch of topless girls and a couple that were fully naked...it was a first experience for me to say the least...at first when i saw it, i thought i was just really drunk and imagining it...but my friend saw it too...it made me feel a little better knowing that i wasn't the only one who saw everything they had to offer

I have seen a few naked or partly naked people both years but to be honest, I really don't care. This is how we were born and it's perfectly natural, so I have no issue with it. I don't really see it has having anything to do with sex, it's just a freedom thing
I have been taking my daughter to festivals like this since she was a baby and now she is a teenager, I don't think she even notices, because she sees it as being natural also.

hmm, yeah - topless boys and girls. strikes me as a bad idea in that sun! some were painted too...
i dont recall seeing anyone totally naked, aside from in the shower. but like trippin said, it's not something i have an issue with. so who knows... there is a good chance i didnt notice - especially considering everything else going on around me
edit: let me clarify, if i was in centeroo, in one of the random fields, and there was barely anyone else around, and someone was walking towards me - bareass naked - then yes, i would definately notice them i dont want to sound like "that guy"...

Hey I am a guy and I went topless the whole time and I never had any trouble with sunburn... Thanks God for SPF 50!except at night it was a little chilly for bare skin...
I also saw the naked people the first time while drunk... I turned to my friend and said "I wonder where his clothes went". He replied, "From the look on his face I think clothes are the least of his worries." Then we found him dancing on stage to Mute Math... Ah good Roo memories! Now I am not a fan of male nudity being a male of course... It is defiantly natural and more power to you!
A little part of me wishes I could get painted and naked and run through "Strawberry Fields" at Roo... But the better part of me says no... A part of me wishes everyone would just abandon clothes at Roo... It would be less to pack!
i have no problem with it...i'm not sure how it sounded from my last post but hey, wanna be naked? be naked...hey, if i had enough courage, i'd do it...

I'm all for the roobs, saw a few people last year, and a few in 05'. I think people just expect bonnaroo to be so awesome, which it is, they expect there to be 72 naked virgins waiting for them at the gates. ;D I went shirtless the first day to build up a base tan, but used my towel as a shawl type deal to keep the sun from being directly off me the rest of the time.
I actually support as much nudity at Bonnaroo as possible. Makes me think that we go back to a more primitive society for four days. Seeing people be that free that they just do whatever they want is a good feeling. I'll def be shirtless for a lot of Roo, but I doubt that I'll be totally buck naked... Unless I'm doing the horizontal mambo!
I didn't see a bunch... like a dozen maybe in various stages of undress. Didn't see any completely naked men, but did have a guy in front of me at Xavier Rudd dancing in a very short sarong and doing lots of toe touches...
I don't have a problem with it. I am not one to get naked at Bonnaroo but it did make me feel freer to do things like wash up at the trough in just my bra and probably this year care less about what is and is not covered if it's hot. And yeah... spray sunscreen helps people go barebacked and not get a sunburn!
I am not one to bare all out in the festival grounds but have no problem at the washing stations around camp. When in rome you know. Plus you got to get you junk cleaned a couple times a day. I do anyway but that is just me. I need a some sort of shower each morning just to recover from all the corn the day before. It is my morning coffee.
My first year, 05 I saw a nudist male strolling through the campsite. A few girls are always topless and nudity at the Mushroom fountain is usually present. Id say the majority of the people at Roo are open minded and fair.
After awhile you don't notice the topless girls as much, hey, I tried not to stare. I did see some women and men completely naked in the fountain and security told them they needed to put bottoms on. As soon as he left, they just took it right back off. I say, especially for some of you lovely ladies on here, take it off and be free of those constricting garments.

I've talked with some friends about wearing latex paints over our "roobs", but we were wondering if you could sweat through it... so my question is have any of you tried latex paint, or just reg. body paint for that matter? How does it feel to leave it on for 12+ hours?
Rock me mama like wagon wheel, rock me mama any way you feel, hey, mama rock me. Rock me mama like the wind and the rain, rock me mama like a south-bound train, hey, mama rock me...

Nudity isn't a problem at all for me; if you're comfortable go for it! Don't know if I'd be brave enough; I'd be too paranoid of unwanted pics ending up on the Internet! That can lead to problems like job loss. (Besides, I doubt anyone would *want* to see me in that state lol). There were more brave souls than I was expecting last year, but the heat may have influenced it!
