Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Everything I keep seeing refers to tents: This Tent, That Tent, The Other Tent, That Tent Way There...No..Not The Tent Over Yonder But The Second Most Yonder Tent, etc...
Are all the stages in covered tents or something? How hard is it to hear your favorite band/get into a tent?
There are two stages- the main stage and a smaller stage. There are three main tents. It's not hard to hear, ever, but it can be very difficult to see. There will be times when you'll be listening to one band and hearing another band's music bouncing all over Centeroo.

Don't forget Yet Another Tent.
Yes, some stages have covered structures over them. Sound quality is pretty good everywhere, IMHO. You shouldn't have any problems hearing the show, regardless of which stage/tent you're at.
The only tent that's difficult to get into is the comedy tent (the aforementioned Yet Another Tent... what, you thought I was kidding?). You need to get in line for the comedy tent, and they only allow people to enter before a show. It's enclosed and air conditioned, so letting people come and go as they please would really defeat the purpose.
There's not a whole lot of bands that "seeing" is important for me... but hearing def. is! I dont mind being in the middle of a crowd, just so long as we're able to hear whats going on. haha...
Tho we might set up by the metallica stage early and just try to hold a place up close... haven't seen them in 5 years, and last time we were front row, haha....
There are two stages at Bonnaroo - What Stage (the main stage, capacity 100,000) and Which Stage (slightly smaller).
Besides these two venues, there are three music oriented tents - This, That, and The Other. Yet Another Tent is a comedy tent, as people above me mentioned.
The names of the venues are pretty cool, and it just sort of fits into the real disorienting vibe you get at Roo.
*Thursday night, Roo '07* Me: "Hey, are Rodrigo Y Gabriela about to start playing at this tent?"
Random 'Rooer: "Well this is that tent, but yeah they should be on in like 20 minutes."

i wanted to go into the comedy tent last year and everytime i went, the line was HUGE and i didn't think i would get in...once again, impatience got the best of me and i refused to stand in line to wait and see...
There's no combination of words I could put on the back of a postcard. No song that I could sing. But I can try for your heart Our dreams, and they are made out of real things Like a, shoebox of photographs With sepiatone loving Love is the answer
A little feeling in my gut that I get of late when I think about these cats running the world with hate
Tho we might set up by the metallica stage early and just try to hold a place up close... haven't seen them in 5 years, and last time we were front row, haha....
Hey Hilly, just a tip. The area immediately in front of the main stage is cleared out after each set to prevent folks camping out there all day and getting in the way of people wanting to see other bands. That was new last year so it may not happen again this year, but it probably will.
