Materials are a lil pricey (8' around $200), but it looks like you could just take it down and reuse it, and it's supposed to stay really cool during the day. And I'm sure the design could be modified easily. Looks cool.

ya know, i'm sure that the reflective material DOES block a lot of sun and heat, but at what cost?
i know I'D be pissed if i had a huge glare coming from a neighbors space station on me the whole time. same goes for reflective tarps also, you are so disconnected from the rest of the Roo, being in a box like that. how are the travelling vendors going to come to you?

Passive cooling like this is never going to drop the temp of your campsite below ambient. An EZ-up and a couple of reflective tarps will give you the same effect, and take half as long to set up. And give you more headroom.

I'd rather build a geodesic dome, my brother and I set his up to make sure everything was ok for his trip to burning man. Sucks that he lost the tickets.
