Hello all. I'm gonna buy a 5 x 7 reflective tarp (space blanket) to somehow suspend over my tent to block the heat but not restrict airflow. I have a 10 x 10 Ez-Up canopy so I was thinkin about putting my tent right next to the canopy and tying two strings from the top of the canopy. The strings would connect to the space blanket over my tent and then the blanket would connect to stakes on the other side of the tent. im sure that sounds confusing, but the blanket is pretty small so i cant just connect it from the top of the canopy to the ground. any suggestions as to how i should hang my reflective tarp over my tent (but not covering it)? Thanks fools.

yeah, i plan on doing something similar... i was going to wait until probably april to set up my ez-up and mess around with it.
I use basically the same pvc flagpole as above. Assemble it there and be sure and bring a hacksaw to saw it up so it will fit in your vehicle both ways.
