Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
So, i've looked everywhere (kind of), both on the official bonnaroo site and on the inforoo forums, but i haven't quite figured out how many people you're allowed to have on one campsite. Does each ticket include the cost of camping no matter how many people you have on your site? if so, isn't it smarter to bring multiple cars to have like 2 or 3 people to a campsite instead of 4 or 5?
any clarification from the veteran roo-goers would be most appreciated.

you can have as many ppl in a campsite as you want..its kinda like first come first serve with the space you get but ive had 3 cars with 10 people or 2 cars with 4 people before. it varies and cost of camping is included in your ticket, once your on grounds, you get a bracelet and you park and you set your site up and thats about it!!
something i learned my first year, '06, is that it helps to have big items like tarps in the back easily accessible so you can yank them out right as you park and claim as much space as possible when the workers are funneling people in behind you.

Yeah, pretty much what was already said - you can do whatever you want with your space, so yeah, more cars = more space per person. The downside is that for a lot of people, the road trip is a major part of the experience. I'm coming from upstate NY, so the 15 hour drive is a big deal. And it's so much more fun with a full carload. If you split up so there's like one or two people in a car...more boring!

Don't forget more cars = more gas and more of a hassle staying together in my opinion. That said we've always had 2-4 cars and its worked out great. just be ready to throw your big stuff on the ground so people know you mean business!
