Last year I had a glass frying pan lid and security confiscated it, I was surprised because I thought the no glass rule was only for things like glass containers for drinks and etc. This year I would like to bring hookah but am worried that I won't be allowed in with it because of the glass rule, I saw a few last year and I just wanted to ask those who have brought them in the past if they had any trouble getting them in.

Think this one through. If you had a problem bringing in a frying pan lid made of glass, do you really think a glass hookah would be any different? People get many different banned items in, whether you'll be hassled there is no way to know. Some people don't have their car searched at all while others get their cars ripped apart. I'll point out the obvious: a glass hookah is a lot harder to hide than a frying pan lid.

If your willing to risk it try to bring it... Like creative said above me some get through without a seach, some get minimal searching, while others get torn a new one... If you decide to bring it wrap it in a sleeping bag and tie the bag tight... More than likely they will not want to untie a sleeping bag when searching a car...
I brought my hookah the first few years but stopped when I thought of the glass thing. I've never been searched (maybe 'cause I'm older) but I won't risk mine as my brother-in-law got it for me in Yemen. IMHO, You shouldn't bring yours unless you are willing to risk losing it.

what up mass^
i too thought the no glass was for things you would dispose of like glass bottles so they dont get left to be broken all over the place, not anything you would be taking off the grounds with you.
Does anyone know the REASON you cant bring glass onto the farm?
