Ok so we plan on day parking again this year (we hate camping and have dogs at home who need to be taken care of) - it worked great for us last year, but they have still not fixed the Thursday night issue where you cannot leave until Friday once you are in.......
So here are my thoughts and I would appreciate any input or suggestions.
I don't want to miss Thursday night this year because it looks like some great bands will be playing. Is there anywhere even close that we can park and walk in from so that we can drive home on Thursday night?
Or do you think we could sleep in our car in day parking if we had to and then just drive home on Friday night (have someone else take care of the dogs that day)? I'm not sure if they monitor the day parking area or if that would be allowed.
The people at Roo emailed me and said if the traffic was not bad we might be able to leave but they could not guarantee it......
I know there are people who live right next to Roo who rent parking in their yards. If I remember it's about $10 a day. You could park there and leave from there. They can't stop you from leaving a personal residence (though traffic might make it a real hassle and I'm not sure exactly where these are.)
