Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I know there was a thread for this last year, but I thought I'd start a fresh one. Post any camping gear sales you come across here in an effort to better outfit all of your fellow Bonnaroovians.
Personally, I have too much camping gear and the only thing I'm in the market for is some Chaco sandals. So if anyone hears about a sale on those suckers, let me know.

whle we don't have too much - we do have what we need - only thing that needed replacing were our chairs and I picked up two of them at Target for less then $10 each.
May look back into an airbed or campcots for this year tho

Heh, yeah, our group destroy 4 nice camp chairs last year. We just had this chair graveyard in our campsite that kept getting bigger every day. Luckily mine survived.
Target: 15% off select Coleman mattresses, week of Mar. 9-15. They are also highlighting free shipping on some Coleman items on the website, this week.
For those on a more limited budget, Big Lots here in TN has a 10x10 canopy for $20. It's a cheaper one but still a good quality. Not like the flimsy Walmart ones.

the thing I am mostly concerned with is my tent leaking. I have seen that it rains quite often during the summer out in bonnaroo. I wanted to know if anyone has found a good leak resistant tent online or in a local store. I wanted to buy some of those tents at target but a lot of the reviews state that they leaked in lots of water during rain storms. Which would suck, I dont know if it is possible to have a rain proof tent or if we should just go sleep in the SUV rather than sleeping in a tent that is about to give way to leaks LOL, let me know what you people think!

I'm afraid you've completely misread the situation. Leaking tents are not worth worrying about, most parts of the farm are above sea level. The hazard to be concerned with is People Leaking ON Your Tent, but don't worry, steps are being taken to minimize this risk.
This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo
I got my 10x10 EZ-Ups for less than $40 each at Tractor Supply last years. They have good sales.
Here's a hint. If they don't have the 10x20 canopy for $100 at your store, mention you saw it in Halls and they may give you the same price or even have a couple shipped in from Halls for you. That's what they did for me and my EZ-Ups. They were out so they had them shipped in from another part of the state for me.
^^Inforoo only allows a link to be so long and then it stops. You can use www.tinyurl.com to shrink the URL or just tell people to cut and paste (what I usually do.)

Sports Authority has a great sale on shade tents this week. 40-50% off for some decent quality tents. Normally their prices are nothing to speak of, but the sale this week makes them the best deal I've seen in the MidAtlantic or online for the features you get.
Hmm, I'm not seeing many sales on the website... but thanks for the heads up! Maybe in the store?
We already have a Quik Shade but I was thinking we should pick up some other kind of shade too, and put our Quik Shade over our tent with sheets on the sides so it doesn't get so hot. Which leaves me wondering.... screen room, or shade tent?

For Roo, there's really no need for the screen, as the bugs are nearly non-existent during the fest. Any bugs that you do need to worry about, will be creeping through the grass, so the screen probably wouldn't do that much good.
That said, if you're a camper or plan on using the tent for other fests or outdoor jaunts, you might want to opt for the screen.
