LONG-RANGE FORECASTS Zone #6: THE SOUTHEASTERN U.S., INCLUDING FLORIDA The drought regions of the Southeast will continue to have near to below normal amounts of moisture between now and the mid portion of the spring season. If La Nina continues to weaken, most of the Southeast will be see above normal moisture levels with periods of severe weather during the mid to late spring season. The summer period looks a bit warmer and drier until the hurricane season becomes active in August and September.
Of course climate is an average and long term weather forecasting is useless. Hell, most of the time weather forecasts for next week are not very good.
I don't like the "warmer and drier" thing but if the "severe weather" holds through late Spring and into June we could get a storm on Tues/Wed and maybe a cool period Thru/Fri/Sat. Not likely but we can hope.

i kind of hope that it pours for a good amount of time this year. like maybe a step down from 04. the past two roos have been a test of endurance in the heat. i want to be that guy in the mud.
I remember because they were passing out Xbox 360 ponchos and we nabbed some.
But it's wasn't horrible.
I think Roo will be amazing as long as it doesn't have weather conditions like Langerado, lol.
Were you talking about this years Langerado? Because i knew it rained on Thursday night, but living in Florida that is to be expected. I was there Friday and it was fine (but come to think of it we left right before the squall line moved through as we were in day parking.) The rain during the rainy season is amazing though here in Florida - sunny one moment than rainy than sunny again... As for the heat it gets unbearable during the summer (especially after a tropical storm rolls through and their is no wind.) So i think i could handle bonnaroo if i decide to go(have to convince boss to give me time off.)
