has there ever been a roo where the weather didnt contain one of the following?:
a.) ridiculous heat and humidity
b) pouring rain
c)dust like a mofo.
why cant it be 80 and breezy for a weekend?
a.) you silly northerners know nothing of ridiculous heat and humidity b.) didn't rain in 06 c.) no dust in 06 either
i was there in 06...it was hot..but i would definately take that again...but i was just wondering if there was any chance tenn would go easy on us northerners for a weekend.

didn't rain in 06? I'm pretty sure I remember a nice cool rain to end out the weekend during Phil & Friends sunday night. I remember only because we danced in it at the stage for a bit but then ran back to our site to watch from inside our car(great campsite).

i guess we must have left before the rain started in 06
either way, that was my first year at roo, and i couldn't believe how GREAT the weather was! compared to the 107 kind of temps we get at ACL in september, i'll take roo ANY day
however, an 80 degree and breezy day would be gorgeous!
In '05 it was cloudy with occassional light rain most of the weekend. The best weather of any year IMHO. '02-'03 were the hottest, '04 was the monsoon and mud, '07 was the dust bowl. Every year it's a new surprise.
It is June in TN so it will be HOT. Not as hot as August or anything. June is probably the best month to have it unless you have it during the school year so...
I agree 02 and 03 had the best weather. It did rain a bit on Friday last year and like they said, rained during Phil and F in 06.
I would like to have a roo that is about 90 for the high each day, overcast with no rain, but have some good rain the weeks prior to roo so it doesnt create a dust bowl.

i'm pretty sure we just left before the rain started at phil's show. i may slightly remember raindrops on the windshield as we pulled out, but who knows

Would anyone in the Bonnaroo area be able to keep everyone here updated on the weather conditions before Roo? Like let everyone know if there is a drought so we will be able to get ready for an extremely dusty weekend.

“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” -Benjamin Franklin
Last year it rained on Friday afternoon for like 10 minutes RIGHT before the Nightwatchman set....because I was running through it from the cinema tent to get a good spot and got to That Tent with about 3 songs left by that Pauolo Nutini guy.....so that would have been bout 4ish I am guessing.....

They'll be a weather thread by some of us locals as Roo approaches. Seems every year we all scout the forecasts trying to predict what's in store.
lived in Tennessee for almost 24 years, the middle of summer is never cool or breezy!!
Now now...if you are out in the middle of a severe thunderstorm...if you can stand the hail...it's actually very nice and cool and breezy...even in July and August.....
