I will be flying in, from los angeles. I wanted to know if there were any companies that rented tents for ROO' campers. If so, what companies, and if they had a website with their rates etc, so that I could reserve a tent. I am asking since it would make it a lot easier to rent a tent, rather then lugging it around from airplane to airplane (1 stop flights there and back). Then throwing it in the rental car. WOULD MAKE LIFE MUCH EASIER! Any knowledge/advice would help. thanx guys/gals.

There is a guy who rents out complete camping setups at several music fests, but I can't remember if Roo is one of them. I've got the info somewhere. I'll let you know when I find it.

i dont think so , but you can totally a. fly with a tent - they are pretty compact - it shouldnt be an issue at all b. buy a decent tent for prob the same amount a rental would cost
I think I will weigh my options. BY checking out what the costs would be to rent a tent, then compare that with the costs the damn airliner would charge for me to send my tent and chairs to the event. It is a group of high school/college friends going together. Flying in from all different parts of the country. I was thinking of having us all bring in different essential parts of the camping area with us while traveling. For example. 1 brings chairs, 1 brings grille, 1 brings food (hotdogs/hamburgers) utensils, 1 brings alcohol, 1 brings cooler. I think that would be the most effective way, so that way 1 person isn't stuck with the burden of bringing all the things by themselves and isn't stuck with the shipping fees by the airliners as well.

Thanks dude, that would be awesome. If I could get his info and reserve a big tent it would make things a lot easier on us. All we would have to worry about is bringing chairs and a grille, which isn't really that much to worry about (shipping wise). There are walmarts in Nasville/manchester area right? Cause I was thinking of stopping there to purchase all the needed supplies such as food and toiletries, etc.
Like Becca said, lots of people fly in and camp, and she has experience with that kind of thing and I'm sure could give you all the tips you might need to do that without any problems.
there is a walmart in manchester they will have what you need as far as supplies also great meet up spot for friends so yall can go in together once in the gates there are no reserved areas they put you where they want you.. cordinate with friends for meet up before you go in that is to ensure everyone can camp together...
This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo

Walmart is less than 2 miles away, I think, right off the Interstate.

for sure, great advice, we are meeting up at the airport and then leaving from there. CAN'T wait! I just wish that we didn't have to lug around so much stuff. I will definately be calling my airliner to assess to see how much those fools will charge me to bring in a tent and some chairs. I know they charge by the pound etc. Will be interesting to see what they charge.

good luck!
What have you found to be the most difficult thing to pack? I am wanting to pack light, aka only bring some beater shirts and trucks, since I have heard that it is humid and hot out there during june. Especially since it is only a 3 night stay, I dont really want to pack much. But I know most things are a must, such as chairs, cooler, tent, grill, sleeping bag. Other than that, I can't really think of much.
bring something warm like sweats and hoody also as it does get cold early morning hours... when are yall coming in and when are you leaving out? and its a four day thing now

yeah well, the thing is that I have finals on wed night. So me and my friends out here in socal will probably be booking out flights late wed night or early thurs morning. We are well aware that the concert begins on thurs night, but I can't really do much since my finals are on weds night. we are planning on flying out on mon afternoon/night. How cold? Cause if we are only talking 50, thats really nothing.
50 can be cold after being in 95 degree heat with 90% humidity allday sweats and hoody u should be fine... i'm hot natured and i got cold on sat night late last year but that could have been body telling me to lay down after 48 hrs straight partying
