so, i'm not going to metallica and it sounds like there's a lot of you who aren't. so instead, i'm hosting a beer pong tournament. only stipulation is that you guys bring your own beer. i'll supply everything else. we'll start a bracket and everything! we'll do 2-on-2 and i'll post rules soon. anyone down?

Wev'e never played beer pong being old farts as our kids seem to think. Yet we're way cooler as we are going to roo thats what I tell them anyway. Of course they are jealouse and are whinning about how they would be beter suited due to the age group of the crowd. We have replied that we would risk being out of place due age vs just not being there.
Just like last year, we'll be playing beer pong from 8- the music starts every morning.....and whenever someone is at the camp...........everyone's welcome!!! We 'll probably be going to metallica sooooooooooooo count me out for the tournament.....

haha, well i agree. i'm still trying to convince my mom to go. y'all are welcome to join us. and don't worry, beer pong is super easy, just as long as you like drinkin' beer!

haha, not quite. it involves ping-pong balls. that's the only thing that's pong about it. like i said, if enough people get interested, i'll go ahead and post some rules. so you'll have an idea soon enough.
I could maybe be into this. Won't be able to guarantee my presence until later on closer to 'Roo. I love me some pong, but there's so much else to see at the fest that I might skip pong.

why not extend this idea. anyone that is bringing a table, start a tournament with your neighbors. then winners find another tourney in the surrounding area. massive festival-wide beer pong tournament!
oh my gosh, it would be incredible to actually come up with some kind of drinking game centered around REAL pong.
well the tale of beerpong goes that REAL beer pong was actually just that. with the paddles and all not quite sure about the whole volley thing but im sure you can find it somewhere. so with 80,000+ people that could potentially be one hell of a bracket

yeah common havnt you guys ever seen beerfest? thats the real beer pong right there . maybe not exactly like it but you are suppose to use paddles.

I know if we pass by a table we'll definitely be up for a tourney!! The first time I played beer pong was Bonnaroo 06 with the best neighbors ever. Isn't Bonnaroo grand?

you should do it during the widespread panic set. a lot of people plan on resting for the late night during metallica. sunday you have all night to play.
