I guess if you have the room to bring it - I am sure other people have brought couches - just be sure you take it with you when you leave and don't leave it there for the Clean Vibes folks to deal with

I'd have to look twice if I saw a couch at roo... the combination of my projected state of mind and there being a couch at roo in camping... would make me think very very hard for a while.

that's how i felt after taking a lot of fungus and coming upon the giant pencil. luckily my fellow bonnaroo bud was there to assure me he saw it, too.

^^ Have you guys seriously never seen couches? I see at least one campsite with a couch every year. I've seen 'em with rolls of carpet laid out, a couch, and a friggin' microwave.

No, I didn't get to meet any of the other inforoosters.
First year we went, though, my buddy had some friends who were a few campsites over, and they had the big roll of astroturf, a microwave, fans, and a tv. I don't remember if they had it running off a generator or what, but it was pretty nice. They also had this watermelon that had been soaking in liquor for days, which caused me to miss Buddy Guy.
I love the couches at camps...I just can't fit a couch into my little busted-ass '91 Celica.

At south Padre the other year, some dudes brang a hot tub in the back of their truck. Pretty fucking pimp. There were chicks there most of the weekend.
it would be STICKYYYY during the day but at night it would be awesome. i guess during they day u could put a tapestry on it..so ur skin doesnt stick to it
That's actually a really good idea...you'd just have to put extra padding underneath it so the hay wouldn't puncture it. Other than that, you'd be set.

lol if I had all kinds of money to work with I would totally bring a couch, a recliner, carpet, a nice floor lamp, a coffee table, etc. just to confuse people in easily-confused states of mind...
I don't have room for a couch, unless it's inflatable. But I am planning on bringing a hammock, and a rug, and maybe even a plant or some flowers. A couch would be a nice touch though.

I think I would absolutely die laughing if i was wandering Roo late at night and saw a bunch of guys on a couch playing Halo (like it seems i do on a nightly basis here...)
I was at a festival in May last year, and these kids had "brought their living room" a bunch of college sophmores who shared a place had packed up everything in the living room brought two generators a huge tent and a discoball. It was pretty quackin sweet.
A group in VIP had a whole living room set of inflatable furniture last year. They kept it out of the sun during during the day, but at night it looked comfy.

I've always wanted to stop by the closest resale shop to the farm and buy a couch to take in with us. We do bring inflatable furniture, a hammock, zero gravity chairs and rugs. Keep it all under the shade tents and you don't have to worry about sun and rain.
