i have pretty long, thick, very dry, curly-ish hair. i didnt wash or brush mine at all and it was fine, felt a little like straw by sunday, but was fine. if your hair gets greasy though, i dont know, i have the opposite problem. I'd say just wear it up, everyones gonna be gross.

That, my friends, is why I've always WANTED to do it and never actually done it. I don't think I could pull it off gracefully.
the only way to know for sure it to try it, and you can always just grow it back out.
natalie portman got paid to do it, of course, but she still looks gorgeous without hair. i think if you shave your head, but you're confident about it, it makes that difference and gives off an aura of beauty.
Gotta say ladies, I had cancer two years ago and as such the hair fell out. Incredibly liberating to walk around bald, plus you can let people decorate it when you're in the mood.

Someone mentioned travel sized shampoos a while back....one tiny bottle does not contain enough shampoo for kind of thick, a little past shoulder length hair. Last year I used one of these little bottles and only succeded in cleaning about half of my hair! It was better than nothing though.

Hit the water at 6-7am with a small hand towel, tooth brush, and Dr Bronner's Peppermint Soap. Look it up on the net if you havent seen it. Its biodegradeable and safe for face,hand, and leaves you hair fresh and scented with organic peppermint. It runs for $4.50 for a bottle worth 20-30 washings. It can also wash pans and mugs. I have used it for backpack camping and it leaves your body so clean and gives a tingling feeling.

Last year I hit the water troughs during Tool...had the whole thing to myself to take a relaxing shower, but can't remember if i bothered to wash my hair. I'll prob do the same thing during metallica this year

ah...last year i took my only shower right before tool...we got confused trying to find our campsite and ended up missing like a half hour of the set...i was kinda bummed about it...so goal this year...keep map with me at all times
