Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
For those Rooers that are staying in hotels. How are you getting to and from the hotel and the festival? Anyone carpooling? My friend and I are trying to avoid renting a car if we don't have to.

i think one of the greatest things about camping will be listening to the music that's still playing as you fall asleep [or pass out, for some people] for all the years to come, i'll be going to Roo, and i'll never get a hotel

My favorite memory from last year - we were at Flips - it was way way too much for our minds in that condition - we wandered over to Gov't mule for a min and Boz decided he needed to head back to camp - so off we went - to BFE
The last thing I remember about that night was drifting off to sleep and hearing Gov't Mule playing Soulshine

I love my little room at the Howard Johnson Express in Murfreesboro. I get up in the morning. My buddy and I walk across the road to the Waffle House, lay down a good base for the day, head back to the room to veg, watch some TV, maybe snooze in air-conditioned splendor. Then we catch one of the express buses that shuttle us to the fesitval (on the hour), there's no security check, they drop us off by the VIP RV section and we walk right in. Then, at the end of the day (I was there for Soulshine, man, I was THERE), the shuttle takes us back to our air-conditioned, quiet, maid-serviced room, our beds with clean sheets, and we crash, only to start over the next day, refreshed and rejuvenated. If I were younger, I'd definitely be in the campsites. But I have shoes older than many of you and appreciate few things more than a good night's sleep. So where's the love for the VIP + hotel crowd. I know you people are out there.
Seriously, I think the whole Roo experience is what has me going back. If I had stayed in a Hotel room, I dont think my brother and I would be back. There is nothing like it!
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!
Don't get me wrong. Having a hotel at Lollapalooza and Vegoose was life-saving. I def felt more rested than I did at Roo. Something about Roo would feel incomplete if I had those types of luxuries...

listen to them, if you don't camp, you didn't really go to bonnaroo.
Really? I saw 13 amazing acts, met tons of great people, and generally had a blast. I get that there are benefits to camping. But don't think that there aren't also benefits to spending the sleeping time in dark, clean, temperature-controlled comfort. I'm more rested, don't worry about the weather, security doesn't go through my stuff, and I don't have to wait in lines to get in. I'll be 48 at this year's Roo (my 4th) and this way works just fine for me.
