If I need to leave really early on Monday morning in order for my sister to be at a required class on Monday evening...is it logistically possible to leave either Sunday night after the last concert or in the wee hours of Monday morning, say by at 4 am? I am RV camping. How is does the mass exodus typically play out...when can I expect to be out of there?
The way I see it we have 2 options. 1. Leave Sunday night or super early Monday AM or 2. leave later and drop my sister off at the Birmingham airport and she can fly home to Houston and be there on time. I just need to figure this all out ahead of time so it is less expensive...any help would be awesome.
Technically, you can leave anytime, but at least in regular camping its hard before Sunday night unless you are on the outside. I don't know how things work in RV, so hopefully someone who has done it will be able to answer your question. Maybe in RV they make it so you aren't blocked in...?
Having said that, even if you are blocked in, a ton of people leave Sunday night after the last headliner, so I would think if it is anything like GA, many of the people on the outsides will have left, giving you room to get out early Monday morning. I don't see why you should have a problem.

I was in RV last year and there really shouldnt be a problem for you to head out whenever you need to - i say this because water trucks roll around the RV areas (so you can fill up your water tanks) and go in and out all weekend - so you could to me thinks ;D
