Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
For me its more about the whole scene and the diversity of all the music than individual bands, but I was definitely surprised and thrilled to see David Byrne on the artist list.
Im gonna have to say the Dead...I think they are gonna make up for last years somewhat 'lackluster' performance. I think Bryne (if he plays Talking Heads songs) could be great. One thing im hoping for is that they try to match the band with time of day. IE Some bands are more appropriate to play at 4 AM (MMW) and some are better to play early in the day (Willie Nelson, Burning Spear) Either way Im looking forward to spending the next few months listening to some of the bands Im not that familiar with.
I'm really looking forward to New Monsoon, who I've never seen before. I like Dr. Didge and anybody using similar instruments sounds like a trip to me.

This is my first camping festival, the closest thing being a few years of JazzFest in NOLA, and I am definitely most looking forward to "living in the lots" for a few days...The worst part of leaving any show, for me, is just leaving the scene in general...it's such a great feeling, being there with people held together by the music and sharing good vibes...
I'm also an obsessive concert-goer and music fanatic, so, you know, the legendary line-up's kind of a draw, too
I don't know if there's one act I'm most looking forward to...it's been a couple years since my last SCI show (anyone else from the NYC area feel FUCKED by their touring schedule in the past 2 years?? Now I'm at U-Mich, and missed the Jammies last week)....I've never seen Trey's solo band live, and he's my ultimate guilty pleasure....UMPHREY'S always blows me away....
I'm just psyched about the whole experience. I can't wait to see bands I love like Gov't Mule, Trey, etc. However, I'm looking very forward to discovering music I've never heard.
I did do a happy dance though when I heard that Dave and Friends were going to be there. I saw them in December and it was incredible. I know alot of people knock Dave but believe me, with him, Trey and Tim up on stage, you can't go wrong. Give it a chance!!! You'll be pleasantly surprised.
Yeah, I saw dave and friends also in december at MSG, great show, but the encore was the clincher, it blew me away, talk about audience participation! As for the main event for me, bonnaroo last year was such an eye opener for me, has so amazing that I would be going back this year even if the bill was all debussy and bach covers (not that its bad music, but ya get it...). Besides Trey, Dave, and Tim, I'm really looking foward to seeing Dylan, Nelson, Byrne (I love the talking heads), Primus, and Ween. The North Mississippi Allstars are awesome, as is Mr. Frankenreiter. you know what, Im gonna end up listing the whole billing here if I let myself go on, even though i know I wont be able to see them all The main draw for me is just being there, the only thing I think that is necessarily better than anything else is just the scene in the campgrounds.... hopefully I'll be all go go go for the weekend, I can sleep when Im dead....

I am most looking forward to seeing the Dead & Moe. I am really excited to be with my sistahs & brothers again. I feel so at home when I am at shows and festivals. I am really excited about Dave & friends and David Byrne plus the bands I have never heard of. I didn't like WP till I saw them at Bonnaroo & then fell in *love*
Hmm one thing I would change is I would take Maroon 5 off the list. hehe Oh no I said it Other than that the whole bathroom no showers thing I can handle. Maybe I would turn down the heat a little in Ten & grow some trees for shade.
"We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box."
I can't wait to see some of the Indy acts I haven't caught yet. Kings of Leon, Damien Rice(he's supposed to be great live) Grandaddy, Gomez, Yo La Tengo, The Black Keys. I think thats it. I'm really exited to see Wilco again. This is in addition to all the jambands I've already seen. Moe. should kick some ace. And I really just want to see Dave and Tim Renyolds rockin out on their acoustics. Jea.
I'm really looking forward to Ani playing. I've seen her in smaller venues and just recently in Kalamazoo. I'd like to see her with a different crowd than her regular one. My other "happy dance" bands are Primus (YAY), and Chris Robinson and NEM. I've been wanting to catch his new act for a while now. ;D
Jazz Mandolin Project w/ Fishman is who I'm most looking forward to seeing, aside from all the headliners. Also, Galactic is another group I have been dying to see and Ani DiFranco too. She was in Austin two or three weeks ago and did a great radio set with just her voice and an old, random guitar in the studio.
