Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Hey Bonna-friends! Just rolled back in the door after the 12 hour drive home. Our first 'Roo was an amazing success in every way. Arrived at 5:30 a.m. on Thurs., 4 hours later were parked in Ferris Bueller mere moments from Centeroo! The weather was fantastic (a little bit of everything, dont you think?!).
The highlights for me were Ratdog on the Sonic Stage, Allman's, the Gourds, Old 97s, and definitely Gabby LaLa!
Already can't wait for next year and I haven't even showered yet!
Thanks to everybody for making Bonnaroo so freakin' cool!
Yeah, I got home last night... My wife and I will DEFINITELY be going again next year, but probably with a few changes to how we plan things. Everything was rockin' with only two exceptions: the weather and my 30 minute haul to Centeroo. We got in line at 7:20AM on Thursday and were parked by 10:15 - in Camp Semmi (#77) up past the new pond.
And if those two things are my only complaints, you know I had a great time! Sorry for not making the inforoo meetups at the swings. I was too involved to remember about it when the times came around. Same thing with the listserv meetups (except the BBQ, which was at my camp). Oh well, next time maybe!
I'm back safe and had another amazing fuc*ing time. My heart still swells up at the thought of all those kind hearted folks just wandering around in the same "little" area.
Sorry I wasn't able to make any Inforoo meetups. I met a lot of folks from the Krewe of Roo and had a hard enough time keeping all that straight. In a couple days I'll be able to pull together my thoughts and get my pics developed.

Yes it was a great weekend. We arrived about 5:30 am thursday and were placed in the james bond campground area about 30 mins from centreroo. Not so happy abou tthat but it was quiet and you could find anything you needed on the walk up if you know what I mean.
Highlights for me was the Secret MAchines set which most people passed on. Best damn pscycedelic show I have seen. I think a lot of people went to Mars volta hoping for an experience that they pulled off. Yonder Mountain played a great set and Kings of Leon tore which stage apart.
Being back at work is no fun. I am having trouble typing and staying focused. Can't wait till next year.

I'll we working on my pictures every night this week, trying to get my articles done and get the images up on the website. Plus I need to find some additional outlets for my photography. I've got to make back some of the money I spent getting ready for the ROO, we even bought a brand new lens to take with us. It was worth every dollar...shooting from the pit during some of the shows was just mind blowing. I did run into someone from the board in the venue but already forgot the name....sorry dude....refresh my memory.... I think I was busy trying to get from point A to B without suffering heat stroke. Look for the pictures in a week or so at www.larrysafko.com
Also had a great time. I arrived at 2:15 pm on Thursday and was parked out passed the pond by 6:15. First year waiting in traffic but it wasn't bad. Long walk to centeroo though. Yonder Mountain or The Duo w/ Mike Gordon were probably my highlights. So much great music though. I'm still collecting my thoughts on it all.
This was my first year and I had a an AWESOME time. Bu sat night though, I was ready to come home, but I woke up Sunday not wanting to leave. I just got home this morning. My highlights were Panic Sun night , mmj, yonder string, dave, and the allman bros. there were so many good concerts though, I agree it is going to take a few days to be able to recap everything. the best weekend in a long time. i will be back next year with a better tent and less clothes.

First off special thanks to Leo for showing me the path to the best party on Thursday night. And an extra mammoth thank you to TheDrugsDoWork, spacebunny, Hoot daddy, Madsweeny who I had the opportunity to meet after all this time and to the other the Inforoo folks that I either can’t remember or simply missed, Thursday night is still a little foggy. I checked out the swings around 3 on Saturday and Sunday but didn’t stay very long cause I didn’t see any signs of Inforoo activity, sorry if I missed anyone. What an amazing weekend! The JPBC caravan through the streets was a long but a fun walk and I had a blast at the Beer BQ party Thursday night. Live music is the best, but there’s nothing better than participating in it, so thanks to Jeff, Christo and Joe for letting me jam with them and to all the listserv members who worked so hard with the cooking and preparation. This was my 3rd Roo and the best yet. The music, weather, camp site and the many kind people where wonderful.

I totally agree about the Secret Machines (wow, they blew me out of the water) and the whole work thing. My eyes are darting all over and my keyboard feels strange under my fingers. It's really odd how just a few days in that environment can throw off your whole equilibrium.
That said, I wouldn't give the feeling up for anything.
