I agree- For the most part the additions haven't really excited me, but there will also be more... Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Cracker will be added soon I am assuming since they are both listed on Pollstar, so I am hoping the next additions will have some bigger names.... Keep your fingers crossed- Pat
I would not like to see any hip hop added, but that is a personal opinion, not meant to disrespect anyone. As far as the additions, I also have not been particulary impressed...........as a whole I still can't wait!!!!
Well, you have to realize that they were kinda top heavy from the begining with the likes of Dave Matthews,Trey,Bob, and the Dead at the top of the bill and starting out with 47 acts compared to their usual 30. People are looking for that one big name to pop up and I highly doubt it the way the lineup is set up. They added a few key bands and the rest are good bands that people may not know alot about, which may be a turn off for some.
I agree with you LIguy. The initial lineup was awsome. I was just looking for more diversity in the artist line-ups. I can't wait to check out some of the folks i've never heard of. Just looking for a few more key additions.

There has been a lot of bluegrass added, and I think although the artist additions have been small and fairly unknown, they are there for a reason. All of these bands obviously play awesome shows if they are on the list. While some of the bands you wanted may have not made it, just keep an open mind because that is how you find out about good new music.

Let me amend my earlier statement. I ment no negitivity and I am as I stated earlier psyched to check out some new music. And I agree with you PrinceCaspien the bluegrass editions were awsome (espescially Sam Bush!!!!!) Just was hoping for a few other bands....all in all the lineup is awsome and I can't wait....see you all there!!!!
I agree that the artist additions (on the whole) have been somewhat lacking. It seems like they are going with a theme with the additions. Bluegrass, alt-country, blues, and jazz seem to be the main genres added. Not that I'm complaining. I just wish they'd add some more indy bands. The ones they have seem to be on the alt-country side of things. I wish they'd really mix it up. They need to steal some more artists from the Coachella lineup. Lets get some of everything in there. The initial lineup was phenomenal and blew my mind. Best addition by far was Robert Randolph, in my opinion.
