Speaking of which, my friend got the DVD of Seasons 1 & 2 for her birthday, and the highlight of my weekend was blazing a bit and then watching Jem. Not gonna lie, in 24 hours I watched 12 episodes. I somehow missed it back in 1985, but now I'm hooked! I ordered it on Amazon today. ;D

Hey man, you may want to confirm times, but...

Jem will be at the Abbey Pub on July 1st (6:00 pm doors) playing a FREE show. One of those XRT/Bud Light new music preview shows. Unfortunately, I doubt I'll be able to make it, but might be worth taking advantage of.

I'm not sure what all happened. I was standing there washing the grime off, in the rain. When some naked guy gets laid down on the ground near the back stage entrance right before Jem. He was shaking a little, the water was very cold after the hot day. Some people covered him up and security carted him away. I heard OD, but there is really no telling what happened to the guy. I thought he was just trying to surprise Jem.

I picked up some CDs this weekend and Jem's was one of them. GREAT CD. It's really good and I'm wanting to see her again. The second track on the disc "Come on Closer" is by far the most erotic song I've heard. I was listening to it in the car and my brain just stopped and went "Damn I wish I had a girlfried right now."

It's well worth buying.

I saw Jem open for DMB last summer. I have to say I wasn't that impressed. I would recomend not seeing her at Roo, Im sure there will be someone better playing at that time. But, thats just my opinion. Take it or leave it. (No offense to you Jem fans
