I'm torn as well. I haven't seen Primus before, but I have a feeling I'm going to regret not seeing them. I just love Robert Randolph way too much to pass up an opportunity to see him. So my choice is RRFB.
I haven't seen either bands as well. I'd really love to see Primus since they'll take me back to my old school days of cruisin on my skateboard...but RRFB is just a fabulous show...I'm thinking thats where we'll end up!!!
I'll probably catch a bit of the Primus show, just because they are too much of an experience not to see with my own eyes. I love Primus, but I'm just not sure if they can hold my attention for the whole show, I might get all antsy for something else.
I have a feeling that I'll be pulled over to the RRFB show - I'm weak when it comes to good old fashioned dancing grooves! You just can't beat the positive energy coming from that tent! Especially considering the condition that I'll probably be in.
And then I'll have to see Ween for a bit, too (Ween!! ;D). And Cut Chemist as well.
I have seen both Robert Randolp and Primus and I have to say I liked Randolph better, but when I saw primus they were in a transitional period with Brain as the drummer.

the hardest decision thus far of bonnaroo. how great is bonnaroo that the hardest decision all weekend is picking between two amazing bands. i might have to go with randolph since i'll be seeing primus a week later. then again adrien belew. everytime i have seen robert randolph though it has been amazing. sounds like a draw. first set of primus then robert randolph

I'll take this moment to say that whoever's idea it was to schedule Ween and Primus at the same time is on the top of my sh*t list. They were the #1 and #2 bands that sold me on going. I'm still going but I will have to go to the Ween least the mighty boognish strike me down. I will not attempt to bounce between these shows because you could probably spend an hour or more trying to get through the crowd each time you do this. I call bullsh*t!!!!!

Definitely Randolph... no question there.
Saw him & his band open for O.A.R. at Constitution Hall in DC, definitely an amazing show. Randolph can play the every-loving hell out of that slide guitar. and Danielle is an amazing singer. My gf used to be a musical theater major and she was really impressed by the high notes he could hit

This is definitely the toughest decision of roo. Ive seen Robert twice and he and his band bring so much energy its ridiculous. I will hopefully get a chance to check out everyone that night, but I may not get around to Cut Chemist, even though I love J5 and he is a really talented guy. I guess I'll live though
I've seen RRFB 4 times and its always a blast. I'm looking forward to camping out in the tent before the show to be right up front. Still have yet to see a better show than the one done by the Family Band.

For serious? That sounds awesome! Can't wait for that night!
After posting this (a rumor I heard from a friend working at a CD/vinyl store) I see on the official sked that he's scheduled from 12-1 as just Cut Chemist and then from 1-?? as Cut Chemist presents Funky Sole. So maybe he won't be *all* funk as I'd thought. Just went to his website -- very groovy sound. d**n!!! Now I have to choose among all four late-night Sat acts!!! I have no idea when I'm going to sleep on Sat.
