Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Not only do you need to get there early, but leaving to get water/use the port-o-potties later in the day will almost be impossible. People who didn't show up early try to bum-rush the stage and the people near the front usually form a wall of sorts to keep others out.
debating to skip calexico and the black keys to get a good spot for wilco and dylan.
serious dilemma my man.
i'm really itching to see wilco with nels cline pumping out the new stuff ((missed out on their recent shows at Otto's here in IL, argh!)), and will be at the roo still for their show at the Vic in June...so seeing them is important to me...
but skipping out on two bands i'm really looking forward to is a tough pill to swallow. also putting the kabosh on neko case, nma's, gillian welch, and yo la tengo in any way shape or form.
this time will be the most trying for me...but i'm sure i'll be pretty fuckin' senseless, so whatever happens will be gravy with me! ;D

I look at the dilemma of deciding which show to go to like this: either way, I'm gonna be blown away by whoever I choose to see, so I'll be a happy camper! I cant wait to party with 80,000 of my best friends in two weeks!

No need to worry. Last year i caught James Brown and The Dead from the front row (thats like 6+ hours on sunday) My friend and I didnt camp out early either, for the dead we didnt make it up to the front until the third song. We made our way, weaving through people. It helped that my friend was a female. Once you start getting close, it becomes harder and harder. There were some real jerks that were pushing and shoving up there. Once you get to the front, you have no room to dance at all and you feel the weight of the people behind you, its a rush. If your up for it. I actually find it more relaxing way in the back......good luck!
thanks...the only act Im interested in getting to the front is dave matthews. Ive seen in a jillion times but I always get shitty seats and this could be my one chance to see him close up.

Amen. I'm more excited to see The Dead, Dylan, Trey but I've seen DMB and Dave and Friends several times and always from miles away.
