Is anyone else sort of disappointed at this or is it just me? I was hoping for so many other bands, but on the bright side...now it is only a matter of galactic or JMP.
I guess we should not have expected a whole lot considering the late notice, not that Winwood is not a quality artist.........looks like a good rest time before Galactic, Dead, and RR&FB
without out a doubt as a whole the fesival is nothing short of INCREDIBLE!!!!!!! I'm glad Winwood pleases some people and adds to this spectacular event!
Are you all serious? you know who we are talking about here, right? This is the prodigy, the chosen one.... WINWOOD!! those of you who are on the fence, stop by for a listen, and I am sure you will be satisfied. Also, looks like we will hear Dear Mr. Fantasy with the Dead for sure....maybe Low SparK? I am psyched for this addition!!

I heard when Winwood was at Bonnaroo 1, he played nearly all Traffic songs. It was supposed to be a great show. I'm looking forward to catching part of his set.
For anyone who hasn't checked out his new solo release "About Time" - it's fantastic. I think almost all artists had their "moments" in the 80s... Personally, I am stoked that he will be at Bonnaroo, though I'm sure it only adds to my schedule conflicts.
any of you who like Jack Johnson/the whole singer/songwriter thing I stress that you go see Damien Rice in this time slot...
I love Jack Johnson, but I think I would compare Damien to John Mayer...I think Donavon Frankenreiter is closer to Jack. Just my opinion, and I admit I've only heard a little of Damien and Donavon.

I'm probably going to catch Damien Rice at this time but i'm not 100%. I like Winwood, his box set has some pretty good stuff. i'm partial to his solo work tho.
So has anyone seen him recently, like in the past few months or so? Does he play any of his solo stuff.
I think that his solo work is his best. The Finer Things, Valerie, While You See A Chance, Arc of A Diver, Higher Love, Back in the High Life Again. All great songs. True they're kinda more pop music, but still great stuff.
I'd like to see some hippie girls twirling to "While You See A Chance" and "The Finger Things." That would be a sight.
