My buddies were talking about rumours of an acoustic tent in Centeroo for artists to go and play in their off time... Has anyone heard of this? They said there would be no scheduled appearances, but band members would just kind of appear and play acoustic. (cough Phish cough)
That is no rumor..there is an acoustic tent and should have a shedeule when arriving at roo. Here is what is on the website:
-Sonic Village- A showcase for music-related companies that enrich the Bonnaroo community, the Sonic Village features special activities and information brought to you by a variety of media and merchandise companies including XM Radio, Relix Magazine, Jambase.com, Cat's Music, Jambands.com, Lost Highway and DMusic. Festival performers will stop by the Sonic Village throughout the weekend for signings, acoustic performances, interviews, and other fun activities.
-Sonic Stage hosted by XM Radio- Located in the Bonnaroo Sonic Village and hosted by XM Radio, the Sonic Stage will feature interviews and acoustic performances giving the audience an up close and intimate session with Bonnaroo artists. Check back for schedule of performers.
