The show was awesome, all and all. Pleased as hell with "Joyful Sound," "Give it Away (all billy)," and of course "Texas." But the beginning was very quiet and the crowd kept socializing (especially during "way back home"). Some one said that they were playing quiet so they wouldnt overpower Bob Dylan's sound. i dunno.... i love loud shows. you know what im talking about if youve seen Phish.
yeah there were way too many distractions going on during the sci show... i think it had alot to do with the type of crowd at bonnaroo this year... last time i went to an sci show it was all about the music... i dont think anyone even knew what was going on around them... but at roo people just seemed more interested in what drugs they were taking and how much alcohol they had drank... i think there were just alot of people at the roo that were there for the partying and not the music... still an awesome show and an awesome weekend... rollover and texas to end the set... couldnt ask for anything more... i love the cheese
I started at Dylan, left during highway 61-walked into Wayback Home...I was into it right away, then Joyful.....and of course Texas!! Valley of the Jig was interesting too, that didn't seem quiet to me, but I was flyin' pretty high at that point.

couldn't have been as quiet as Ani DiFranco! I couldn't hear a thing, and ended up leaving. Caught North Mississippi All Stars instead, and they rocked!
