The leaves seen through my window-pane Remind me that it's time to move my life again November sun is felt by none A chilly breeze has blown my thoughts to what's to come A cup of warm coffee, some vitamin C A bowl for the cat, a bowl for the dog, a bowl for me
Last I checked there was still no official word on this, but I remember reading somewhere (Krewe of Roo boards?) that it was more rock-oriented. I think I remember hearing that there were fewer or no horns , two keyboards, and that Fishman was playing some drums on the album they were working on. Don't remember if any Cyro Baptista involvement was mentioned or not (I think he's really been the second star of Trey's band).
Don't know if any of that is accurate or if it reflects the band that will be touring this summer at all.
I absolutely adored the first incarnation of TAB, but I am really excited by the idea that he is changing things up already. I would probably pay to watch Trey pick his nose, but I'll admit that with such a small songbook, I was starting to feel a bit less excited about seeing TAB after attending 5 or 6 shows. It seems like Bonnaroo '04 might have been a goodbye to that incarnation of the band and Bonnaroo '05 might be a hello to a new one.
And although I should reiterate that this is pure speculation/heresay/rumour and in no way based on facts that I know, how cool would it be if Fishman played with Trey at Bonnaroo?
