Is he taper friendly? I checked a few sites and found the two same shows. Usually taper friendly artists have a bunch of shows out there.
I thought if you played Roo your show could be traded. Not all your shows but just the Roo show. I was understanding that they signed something saying that The artists roo show could be taped. I read that on sharing the groove last year. Am I wrong?
I am also on www.taperssection.com, home to some really hardcore tapers. Actually, most of the shows you see on etree or archive for Roo was one of these guys. Anyway, I asked about the Official policy compared to how it really was trying to tape at Roo, this is what I got:
technically they sign a waiver saying they have to allow it. however, last year during kings of leon they tried to shut down tapers, having one of their roadies come around and physically try to turn off our gear. asshats!
also, its rumored that some artists that aren't too fond of taping caused the trouble with mic stands getting into centeroo.
So I guess there was a good chance DM did not get taped if he didn't want to.

damo let the show be taped. anyway, you've got no choice at roo. during the show, in a moment of improv, he actually commented, well, sang about the microphones in the air.
if you'd like a copy, i could hook you up. it's in shn. it's an amazing recording of an amazing show.
and for what it's worth, damo doesn't care if shows are taped. it really comes down to his sound guy jonathan. he's a pain about it.
Holy crap you have the Cincinnati show. I was there it was awesome. I only have the Roo show of his but I'll be willing to trade anything else. How does DB.etree work?
