I'd bet we see something a couple of days before tickets go on sale. Hoping it's Ben Harper or The Flaming Lips (fingers crossed), since both will have new albums to support.
I know last year The Black Crowes were an addition. Bob Weir and Ratdog also. Can't remember the other years.

I've gotta believe it's The Flaming Lips this year. They have a new album out, and they're playing Langerado, so I think that Superfly was probably reluctant to put them out there if they have them in order to avoid looking too much like that festival.
I sure hope it is the Lips. What an amazing late night follow up to Radiohead they would be...

Trey, Black Crowes, J5, Ratdog, Lake Trout, and Saul Williams were all among the additions last year. There was at least 20 total and should be that much this year as well. I think Trey and Crowes was the first announcement.
I dont remember the date of the first announcement though.
a lot of people on teh list serv have been hinting that the first additions will be lots of jam bands that people were upset werent there in the first place..im hoping for this tooo....hoping for some hip hop as well
I am pretty sure that the Lips were a late add in 03, so I could definitely see them being added again this year. There will still be more djs and hip-hop because there is a definite lack of that right now. I think that most of the jam banders got happy with the Umphreys & Biscuits adds.
Well, okay. God, I'm such an update fiend this year. I was checking for the initial artist announcement three times a day for two weeks before it happened.
