What does everyone think of Blues Traveler?
It seems like the more they've fallen out the mainstream, the better they're getting. I just picked up their new disc yesterday, and it's no exception.
I bet they'll surprise a lot of people this year...in a good way.

not real familiar with anything they have done but i know for a for years I would see them playing the fair or something. I guess I will have to check out the set and see if they can change my mind. I hope so.
You know, I was wondering why the are so low on the list myself. This is the same people who brought us the HORDE Festival. Though if they are playing mid day I will be happy with that. Less conflcts the better ;-) ;D

I saw them at moe. down 2 years ago and it was a great set. my friends and i were kinda pissed Popper didn't come out and play at all with moe. but what are ya gonna do. I am sure they will play an awesome afternoon set for us.
im so excited to see Blues Traveler. I have a two disc live show of theirs and it jams. Popper's harmonica skills are amazing and one thing im looking forward to witnessing at Roo.
I really liked them when Hook was popular (when I was in high school), but I'm really not familiar with anything they've done since that album. We are definitely planning on trying to check out their set.

A buddy of mine saw them at the Red Rock ampithearter in Colorado and he said that it was hands down one of the best shows he's seen
I saw this show at Red Rocks last year. It was an excellent performance. John Popper is still going at it strong with his amazing harmonica skills and vocals. Dont expect lengthy jam songs but they do extend past the 3-4 min recorded albums songs. It is a fun show and worth seeing. They played a mixed variety of old material to knew material. As long as a stronger act is not playing at the same time go see Blues Traveler.
I just saw these guys back in November and it was really good. (There is a lot less of John Popper than there used to be as well.) Although, I maintain that they've always been this good and people are far too willing to discredit a band just because they become well known.
