You know, with all the Neville's that are going to playing Roo it would be convienient if the Meters also played this year. After seeing George Porter play SuperJam in 04 I made me curious to listen to some old Meter stuff, which i deffienly digged.
Anyways, I think the possibility for them to be added with Bonnaroo going with a New Orleans theme this year.Does anyone else have the same gut feeling?
This would be amazing. I was thinking Art Neville was focusing on the Neville Brothers, but the Meters are active with a few tour dates in March (including Langerado) so maybe its a possibility. The coolest thing about a Meters appearance would be the fact that they are Dr. John's backing band on this album:
I feel certain we'll hear the title track from Dr. John (this is a must on any "Bonnaroo mix" you make btw), but to have it with the Meters would be too perfect.
