Electric Apricot is a movie directed by Les Claypool. This movie is a mock on the whole jam band scene. This movie is just right to be screened at Bonnaroo. Bonnaroo is the jam band scene summed up in 3 days, 80+ bands, and 80,000 people. Claypool assumes the role as a drummer who is in a band, Electric Apricot, who play out the whole jam band scene as an actual jam band instead of like many music documentries, with a director on the outside looking in. The footage from the movie is from actual shows they played with an audience. Les isn't too bad on the drums, and the originals played are quite good. Who here hopes for an Electric Apricot tent set? I sure do.
ya.. i wish they were showing it for the first time at roo... as im sure i will see it on the internet after the debut, im gonna try and hold out to see it at roo.... i have a feeling it will be really crowded, probably similar to the comedy tent (which means get there 2 hours early)
i think they should put up a drive in movie screen for night viewing and have the airconditioned cinema tent in the day time

id say its moved away from that.... take a look at 10klf lineup its where the jambands are... but it will still be awesome at roo as it is the best festival even if it is not the jam band scene it once was
