Definitely his fancy band playing, its posted on Les' website. If you want to see a possible Bucket of Burnie Brains reunion check out Wakarusa. Sounds like Primus will be touring soon too, I heard somewhere that they are releasing a new album.
God I'm listening to Oysterhead right now...and I'm getting goosebumps and feel like I could throw up because I am so damn excited just imagining jammin out to them at roo!!!
ok some are wondering why Gabby La La gets no love. i hated on her big time before last year's Roo. i thought her music on her website was absolutely awful. her set with les on THu nite wasnt enough to keep me from leaving and checking out the amazing P-Groove set. so, besides the things mentioned already, like her annoying voice, i will tell you why she gets no love.
Shes not a good solo artist. plain and simple. she does, however do well - VERY well - with the fancy band. that band kicks so much ass its not even funny. it was easily my favorite performance since last Bonnaroo. and i have seen at least 3 or 4 shows EVERY month.
bottom line: get psyched for the Fancy Band. do it.

Has anyone seen the 'Buzzards of Green Hill' song off the one les claypool dvd? It is absolutely insane. Check it out. Even my mommy likes it for christs sake!
frog brigade is on the jukebox because the person that put it together is lazy. its either that, a mistake (unlikely) or the web team is short staffed (also unlikely). im willing to bet my shoes on laziness, or even perhaps they have no knowledge of the mistake. but yeah, were gonna go with laziness, just for the record.
and April, i have seen The Buzzards of Green Hill off of the 5 Gallons of Diesel DVD. its freekin awesome! anyone who hasnt seen it - Netflick it right now!

I seem to recall seeing a setlist for the fancy band a while back that had Making Plans for Nigel on it. Am I dreaming, or has les been pulling out his XTC covers w/ the fancy band. Anybody seen em latly who knows?
