I 2nd nat'l anthem. I'd add: Radiohead - Everything's In Its Right Place OHead - Oz is Ever Floating (basically guaranteed, due to lack of material) P&F - They Love Each Other, Cripple Creek, Estimated Prophet? Mike & Ramble Dove - There's a Tear in my Beer, Crazy? MMW - Anonymous Skulls? Les - Prelude to Fear? Beck - Hotwax Tortured Soul - Don't Hold Me Down
Beck: Where It's At, Loser, Jack-Ass, Debra, and Que Onda Guero
OR
Elvis Costello: (I Don't Want to Go to) Chelsea, Pump It Up, Alison, Watching the Detectives, and New Amsterdam
I could make lists like that all day; and frankly, for both those guys I could probably list more "must hear" songs than they could play in an afternoon.
Radiohead - Nude, Karma Police, Talk Show Host Beck - The New Pollution, E-Pro My Morning Jacket - One Big Holiday, Run Thru, Anytime Elvis Costello - Pump It Up moe. - It Pearl Jam (they'll play, believe me) - Rearviewmirror, Porch, Alive, Worldwide Suicide, Hard to Imagine, Yellow Ledbetter
Radiohead: 1. Paranoid Android 2. Nude 3. Let Down 4. Idioteque
If they play let down, I will cry (with joy). If they play Nude, I will collapse. If they play both, it will be legendary.
well, geckorlz... I'm guessing that you will probably collapse, but you won't cry. Nude (previously known as Big Ideas) is very rarely performed live, only 13 times since it was first played in 1998. I've only heard it once live. BUT, Nude is one of the songs they are rehearsing for the upcoming tour, as you can see in this recent photo, and it's speculated that there's a great chance it will be on the new album. But Let Down hasn't been played live since 1998. The popular theory is that it's a difficult song to nail correctly in a live setting because of subtle timing changes. I've been to many rh shows, always hoping to hear let down because it's one of my favorites. Maybe my favorite rh song period. But I certainly am not expecting it. But then again, you never know...I was at a show at the Hollywood Bowl a few yrs back and heard Creep performed for the first time in years (and they've played it a few times since... (they seem to have gotten over the whole creep thing now)
