Would love to see the pixies too... I doubt they will be making a prescence at roo though... maybe Lolla... it would certainly make sense if Roo could afford them and get them to play though... Bing on more incredible bands!!!
I've been lucky to see them since they reunited... but I don't think- for whatever reason- they fit the vibe for this year. I could be wrong (and often are) but the bands this year are at the top of their game and frequent improvisers (Petty excluded maybe)... Just a hunch.
I saw them at Sasquatch festival last year. I loved the music but was really unimpressed with their stage presence. They didn't say a single word to the crowd, just played their songs and left.
