Just wanted to give everyone some cool music info. I recently picked up String Cheese live at Las Vegas 10/29/05 and the Summer 05 travelouge. If you like to hear the works of musical genius pick up these two CD's. Absolutly unbelievable. The Las Vegas CD has an 18 min Thriller Jam (michael jackson). Also I picked up Oysterhead's "The Grand Pecking Order" and it sounded pretty good. Les Claypool is basically the lead vocals with Trey popping in every once in a while. The CD is studio recorded and the longest song is around 5 min. However, you get an idea as to what we will see and let me tell you, this show MUST be a night show! With its trippy lyrics and sounds, we are in for an unbelievable night show. Oysterheads music was made for night. We are in for an unbelievable Roo this year!
P.S. When all else has been done and said, along comes MR. Oysterhead. Check it out

Yeah i've heard that cheese show, its great... As for the old Oysterhead album, its getting pretty old, get some of their live stuff to really hear what we're in for... I dont think its necessarily cutting edge or the best music ever or anything like that, its more the fact that its such a rare appearance that makes it so special....
I know you guys didnt say anything like that im just putting my thoughts out there... Oysterhead will rock... I never thought about how many people havent even heard of them... theres probably alot...
oysterhead is the only thing keeping me at roo this year. nearly all of the live shows are the same. mostly off of the cd. i dont see how it could get old. even if youve had it for years but certainly if your just checking out oysterhead for the first time gpo is your best bet.
i havent found any live shows that had good enough sound quality. very interesting for gettting the gist of what their show will be about but for exposing your self for the first time definetly get grand pecking order imo
which shows do you like? the ones i have checked out sounded like ass and id love to find one with good sound quality
id take another dave show over radiohead. although i am looking forward to the show. the videos make it look pretty sweet. so either i will enjoy the lights and trippy sounds or atleast i will have seen them and will be able to say ive heard every album many times and seen them live and still not my thing so i wont get accused of being closed minded and uninformed for not being into radiohead (ya right, if it aint one thing its another)

Yeah that show was during Vegoose... I dropped my buddy off at the orleans for that show and the next day he couldn't stop going on and on about how mind-blowing it was. He mentioned the Thriller cover but he kept trippin out on all the crazy circus trapeeze artist that were flying all over the arena during the show.....
