;D Years ago someone gave me a bunch of tickets to the Neville Brothers.I was too cool for the Neville Brothers wasn't gonna go. Not sure what got into me but got some people together and it was a great show.awesome percussions. gotta keep an open mind!
I think the Neville Brothers probably get a bad rep because they're "music your mom listens to." But then so is Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon and those guys are great too. The problem I've had in getting myself motivated to see the Neville Brothers play live is just the abundance of opportunities I've had living in areas they play heavily in. Two years in a row, they played a music festival in the suburb i grew up in around Dallas, and I could sit out in my backyard and hear Aaron's voice bounce off the walls of my neighborhood. Beautiful.
Personally, I'd pay to see Aaron Neville and Tracy Chapman perform the most confusing duet ever...
Me too, definately. Some people hate Trey's solo band, but if you like it, Tony Hall (bass player) plays bass and guitar in Dumpstaphunk. And isn't Brady Blade in both as well?
