I think Saturday night post-Radiohead is going to be 80,000 people wandering around out of their minds trying to figure out what the hell to do. I think you can expect that most people will be checking out a little bit of everything that night.

yeah i can see me being completely blown to smithereens by rH, and just chill and watch Dr.John do his thing.
tough call. dr john is a 1 time deal proabably... i guess ill have to wait and see what rumors are flying about the superjam. i wouldnt wanna miss the night tripper show for any of the past superjams but i have a feeling this one is an all new beast. its been an hour and a half in the middle of the day in the past. it seems like they have bigger plans for it this year
Depends on the order in This Tent if Dr. John goes first or last. In a late show like this, which would it be? Nothing against Rebirth Brass Band / Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk but if Dr. John starts the late shift I could take it in and then move over to the Superjam when Dr. John finishes up and the Superjam gets cooking.
Anybody know what order they'd do the This Tent in? I would think they'd start with the top bill at midnight rather than let the lead play out the night from 3AM to 4AM. But never having been to roo before, I don't know whether 3AM is as alive as midnight.
its really anybodys guess. id like to know. dr john is my main concern. but if he plays first and ya leave he will probably come back out again. i think they should break down the latenights into time for each artist. id love to swing over and catch some of lyrics born if i was sure what time he was on. samething for super jazz versus super jam
man i dont see how i will have anything left for sasha. i will be seriously worn out and tripped out by the time sasha comes on. that might be a passout on the ground show for me
the stages are all about a 5 minute walk to each other. we need to work out an inforoo network with people who have cell phones. i could definetly use a call to know whos rockin the superjam and if i head over there i could use a heads up for when dr john starts up. same for lyrics born vs. umph bisco
I did enough of that in my youth to last a lifetime
Psh, in you're youth! You're still 25! Its more like you have a lifetime to do all the things you you didn't do in your youth! Or at least more of the things you did do! Read the thread "too old for Bonnaroo?"
Is the Night Tripper schedule setup from headliner down, so that Dr. John takes the stage last or is it in the direct order of appearance? Cause that would solve a lot of where I should be issues right there. At this point, that's the only real up in the air scheduling thing saturday

i have a feelin dr john will probably be at the end. if he kicks it off then i would say its a safe bet he will be out to jam with the others throughout the show.it could go either way
I will be bouncing around both. proably Superjam>Dr. John>Superjam>dumpstaphunk>Superjam
but I'm most excited about SASHA going til 5:30 on Saturday Late. This is going to be so f*cking awesome. I'm going to be so spent on sunday, but I gotta get it together for Bela, Malkmus, Sonic Youth and Phil.
i take it as its a latenight event featuring all of them. i expect you will see each group individually with a lot of guest appearances. im not exactly sure how it will work. im sure it will be one of the top shows at roo this year though. i really hope we get some clue as to what will be crackin at the superjam so we can make informed decisions as to what we wanna see
i'm thinking rebirth and dumpstaphunk will warm up for a little while and then dr john will come out and and join them and then it will become one huge dr john/NOLA funk fest set all night long.....
