These cats are amazing. I saw them back in '05, and I've heard they've expanded to include a 2nd drummer and an organ player. I saw them as a trio, and they were on fire. As soon as the first notes of "Don't Drop It" were let loose, I knew they meant business. The energy these guys share is amazing, they feed off each other and the audience. If the audience is crazy, expect the show to be crazy. G and his crew have been doing it for a decade now, and theyr'e not slowing down. They're gonna do one wild set at bonnaroo, so dont miss. For the new G. love fan looking to get an album, check the Hustle. It's his newest and prime sound, in my opinion. A lot of his old stuff was real flat, but definitely worth checking out as well. What do you guys think of him? Crazy, right?
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
I am going to see DMB this friday and saturday in Pittsburgh....He is opening for them....I will at least catch him once this weekend....Will let you know this weekend
G Love is a good time. Always a sure-fire. Plus, there's always like five thousand drooling, screaming girls and women up front-- which can sometimes affect the sound (no kidding) - but it's hilarious.
garrett and the sauce still bring the goods live, but let's face it... a few cuts aside, his recorded output has declined rapidly since his eponymous debut. Flame away...
