I have no clue, but it seems to me that a festival with this kind of reputation and following, it would make sense to me that some sort of festival producer would contact you. Like I said, I have no clue, but that would be the most logical explanation to me.
ya my guess is they contact the bands they want. however most fo the big festivals have contests for samll bands to enter. and if your good enought to win you get to play the festie. id look for info on that in the spring
My best guess would be to email booking@superflypresents.com. Superfly, along with AC entertainment, runs the entire Bonnaroo operation so I think your best bet would be to get in touch with the Superfly people if you want to try to play this year...Best of luck
I was curious before the 06 roo and I wrote an e-mail to superfly asking about this. They said that they do not do any booking directly through bands, but that it was all done through managers and publicists. Unless you're a fairly well known band the odds of you being signed to play Bonnaroo are very slim. However, if you're looking for an alternative you can always pull an old silent diner...
