Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
We've been over our our hopes for the musician lineup in 40384 threads but how about the comedy?
I'm thinking Jim Gaffigan, Zach Galifianakis and David Cross. Chappelle would be awesome but I think that he'd have to headline with his own outdoors stage.
This message is a natural hand made product. The slight variations in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty, and in no way are to be considered flaws or defects.
David Cross and Lewis Black are the ones I need to see (never made it to see Black last year; too many conflicts).
I also think it would be great to bring out comedians between acts on the main stages. How much better would the wait between Beck and Radiohead have been if there were something to keep us going? Other than the Radiohead anticipation...

Best idea EVER.
Agreed, but i think thatd make the acts really short factoring in time for sound check for the next band.
Patton Oswalt posted on his website that he is confirmed for Bonnaroo '07:
" Check back soon for details about the upcoming Noise Pop Festival in San Francisco, Coachella, SXSW, 826 Valencia, Bonnaroo and Bumbershoot."
I loved seeing him last year, so I can't wait to see him again. Awesome.
Great find! I didn't think he'd be back considering how hesitant the organizers seem to be when it comes to recurring performances. I saw him twice last year (what can I say, I love comedy and air conditioning) and he was great.
And thank you, friends, for no one suggesting Dane Cook. You've partially restored my faith in humanity.

I think dane cook puts on a very entertaining show, but he wouldnt be good for bonnaroo. He's more of a performer then a comedian, kinda like a jim carrey.
Okay, I'm gonna suggest something that's a little "out there" but hey, it's Roo...
What about Kevin Smith?
If you look at his latest DVD of Q&A's ("Evening Harder") he actually lists what he does as "standup" which I thought was odd. I'm not saying he is standup comedy. But what if he did one of his HUGE college or con gigs at Roo and did a two-night Q&A session?

they've needed a bigger comedy tent for years, but then again i'm pretty much only there for the music, there's way too much to do at bonnaroo, but thats good cause theres so many people there, but i myself could never find time to do or see everything there, which kinda sucks,
Barring a resurection of Mitch, Kevin Smith is the only non-music performer that I would give up on music to stand in line and see. Granted, he's not really a stand up -- more of a monologuist -- but he's so damn entertaining! (And you just know Mewes would be there!)
