I couldnt make it to last years bonnaroo, so theres a few repeats id like to see.
1. Cat Power 2. Feist 3. David Bowie 4. The Raconteurs 5. Wood Brothers 6. Sausage (my favorite claypool band) 7. Mos Def 8. TV on the Radio 9. Gorillaz 10. Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins
I realized most of the bands i wanted to see last year definatly werent happening again this year, oh well. Also the reason i dont really list any jam bands is because i just assume they'll be there.
Flaming Lips SCI David Bowie Gabby la la sean lennon Ben Harper Phish (think that stands for about everyone) The Postal Service Shpongle (probaly no chance) The Allman Brothers Band Bright Eyes Islands Ween The Cure Gnarls Barkley Trey Anastasio Moby
Im sure I could think of more if I put more effort into this.
a Saturday Main stage like this; New Monsoon --> Grace Potter --> Robert Randolph --> Ben Harper
Keller Bowie Rev. Horton Heat Phish Dire Straits (Mark Knopfler would be okay too I guess *a new delta blues (soon to be) legend to be discovered at Bonnaroo* or any new band that I "discover" there.
...and for #11, how about Van Morrison
I reserve the right to change my picks at any time

First time I saw them was at the first moe.down. They kicked off the festival and were such a good time! Plus, I'd like to see some more celtic-leaning artists in the festival. (Greenwich Meantime, Young Dubliners, Seven Nations, Glengarry Bhoys, etc.)

Nice to see you posting Chris!
Are you familiar with Shooglenifty? They're a celtic/bluegrass rooted band from Scotland, who have created some pretty awesome material. Everything from straight up fiddle based jams to pseudo-psychedelic atmospherics. Great stuff.
Thanks, Ryan, it's nice to be seen. The Forum's been a little quiet lately and I've got lots of free time so I thought that I'd actually start posting here, too.
I'm not familiar with Shoglenifty but I'll definitely check them out. Most of that kind of music I find at Irish and Scottish festivals because I don't have a whole lot of other inlets. I'm such a sucker for fiddles and songs about women and drinking and death...
I don't think so. At the smaller Lollapalooza they were offered a headlining slot and turned it down. I couldn't imagine them being offered or taking one at Bonnaroo.
For my ten, I don't know if I can bring it to 10, so I'll put a bigger group and then try to bold my top ten.
1) Arcade Fire 2) Arctic Monkeys 3) Badly Drawn Boy 4) Black Keys 5) Gnarls Barkley - missed at ACL 6) Incubus 7) The Killers 8) Kanye West 9) Muse - amazing live, would do very well at Roo 10) My Morning Jacket - how can they not come back? 11) Nickel Creek 12) NMA 13) Primus 14) Pearl Jam - its time 15) Robert Randolph 16) Sigur Ros 17) String Cheese Incident - farewell show 18) Sufjan Stevens - beautiful music, great contrast 19) The White Stripes 20) The Who - timeless 21) Neil Young - " 22) John Fogerty - " 23) The Mars Volta 24) Dave Gilmour/Roger Waters/whateverPF -
