zoey, i saw the same show on friday night at the vogue in indy. i was going to try and make the promo west show too but something came up. immagine promo but about a 3rd the size and thats the vogue. about 1000 people. how bout that communication breakdown?!?!? effin badazz!! everything you mentioned above is totally true x 10! that being said;
to all the wolfmother haters out there. you have no idea how great they are untill you see them live. anyone who says that "all they are is power chords" and that "they don't do solos" is on f@#$ing crack. some of the jams and solos made 1000 people drop their jaws to the floor. they played the whole album, a new tune, and one of the encores was communication breakdown! so for those of you who think you might pass on wolfmother at roo, you might want to rethink that. unless they are up against one of the big acts, you need to be there!
I will third this. I was at the Columbus show too and it was one of THE BEST shows I have ever seen. I was gonna' pass on them at Bonnaroo because by then I would have already seen them, but now I'm making sure to see them play again.

I was skeptical when I heard they were gonna do that but after seeing it, I enjoyed it. They are one of the few bands that can pull off Led Zeppelin and not make me throw things at them...

Anyone think there is a possibility that Warren would bring out one, if not all of them for some Zeppelin at the late night Mule show (they've played at least one show together before)? Maybe even a whole set?!!!
to people who would go see a show in cincinnati; looks like wolfmother is going to play bogart's in cincy on thrs, may 3rd. tix go on sale this fri! if you missed them, this is probably your last chance to see them b4 roo!! i'm already there man!!!

I saw them at sasquatch too! Amazing! That show pumped and the best thing was that nobody knew who they were...I was right up front! Wicked....too bad sasquatch kinda licks this year
heads up for peeps in the ohio area. saw today that wolfmother is comming back to columbus @ lifestyles community pavilion (promo west) on june 29th! don't know when tix on sale yet but its $22. hope to see some of you there!
I just got back from a buddie's house and the f'n commercial for Guitar Hero came on, where they play "Woman" he started dissing it and I was taken aback... I guess there are people who really don't like em (of course this guy bought a Bonnaroo ticket, and had no clue what the band was, so that tells ya a bit...)

I don't really get the Wolfmother thing but, i'm willing to check them out at Roo (excluding major conflicts, that is). Isn't that what it's all about?
